My Personal Story: “I Just Need to Fix This”
I can remember a season where that thought was on repeat in my mind:
“I just need to fix this.
Give me the answer—and I’ll do whatever it takes.”
And I meant it.
I was trying so hard to support my body.
To feel better.
To get back to myself.
But what I didn’t realize at the time…
Was how much pressure my body was carrying because of that.
I didn’t realize that even though I was doing “healthy” things…
the energy behind it felt like urgency.
Like something was wrong.
Like I needed to hurry and fix it.
And my nervous system felt that.
That urgency…
that pressure…
was actually keeping me stuck.
When Healthy Habits Start to Feel Like Stress
This is where things begin to shift.
Because even the most supportive habits—
the routines, the supplements, the workouts—
Can become stressors.
Not because they’re bad.
But because of the state your body is in while you’re doing them.
You can be doing all the “right” things…
